Lowlandstrail will race Finnmarksløpet-500 in march 2010.

The starting point is downtown Alta. From here the trail drops down on the Arones flat and crosses a road before it drops down onto the Alta river. From here the 500 kilometer long trail goes to the checkpoints Joatka, Skoganvarre, Levajok, Karasjok, Jergul and via Joatka again back to the finish in Alta.
