28 maart 2010 - Vandaag kregen we een exemplaar van Onze Hond van januari 2010 onder ogen met daarin enkele foto's van onze AH's. Deze foto's waren afgelopen najaar gemaakt door Alice van Kempen en zouden worden geplaatst bij een artikel over de Siberische Husky. Na een uitgebreide rasbeschrijving van de SH zou dan een vergelijk worden gemaakt met de AH, om de lezer het verschil tussen beide typen honden duidelijk te maken. Het artikel zelf beslaat een stuk of 6 pagina's, maar de twee laatste pagina's wilden we jullie niet onthouden. Op de allerlaatste pagina de foto's van onze huskies en op de pagina ervoor een absurde paragraaf over de Sibersiche Husky versus de Alaskan Husky. ;) :roll:

28 maart 2010 - Just today we noticed a january copy of the Dutch dog magazine Onze Hond (Our Dog) with pictures of some of our AH's in it. These pictures were taken by Alice van Kempen last fall and were aimed to illustrate the difference between SH's and AH's in an elaborated article about the Siberian Husky as a breed. The article was about 6 or 7 pages long, of which we have scanned the the last two pages since those were interesting to us. The last page contains the pictures and on the page before that there's an unbelievably stupid paragraph about the difference between SH's and AH's. Especially the phrases in the blue block are hilarious.

It says there that '.....it is a good thing that nowadays some more long distance races are being organised again, since it is during such races that the SH can show its qualities in optima forma. In these long distance races he is superior to the AH, who lacks the power and stamina to complete such long journeys....'  ;) :roll:
