Finally moved...

August 5, 2004 - The planning was February, but several issues on the selling party's side almost made us believe we'd NEVER move. But today it finally happened: we officially can call 'metropolic' Poederlee our new home. :-)

The house needs a lot of work though, but for the doggies everything is in great shape. Actually, housing for them is better at the moment than for their owners, haha. We first concentrated on the kennel house. Not that our dogs come first all the time, it's just that we could only move once they had a proper fenced place here.

The kennels themselves were already in good state (there are 7 inner- and 5 outer kennels, varying in size from 23m3 to over 30m2) and are even more perfect since we added a concrete floor and drainage gutter. We should only make sure there's a bit more shadow in the summer, as the sun shines upon the kennels a large part of the day. Besides the kennels the dogs have three fenced grass-lands with natural shadow from several trees. So, we don't want to here any complaints from you four-legged hair balls! :-)
