AMCB walk in Gierle (Belgium)
June 28, 2003 - This afternoon the annual AMCB walk took place in Gierle. This meant a 'home
competition' for us, as it is nearby our house and we always train and walk in these woods with our dogs.
Being the only puppy around Chilaili could not complain about a lack of attention. Of course she
could not join us for the walk and neither could Edmond with his knee pain, so he and Sharon
looked after the puppy and Balou, Anja en Gijs' little dog. Just a small walk and after that the
two littles doggies happily played together (they're about the same size now :-)
The walk itself was nice, but it was rather hot and very dusty. After pulling like mad in the beginning, all the attending Malamutes - and
a few Huskies - soon slowed down and had their tongues hanging far out. Our Attila annoyed me of course, trying
to 'set this flag'at nearly every tree. Macho guy... pfff
After the walk we had some lovely cool drinks and a small supper. All in all a nice reunion with
many Malamutes and their owners
