Attila; Leader of the gang

Attila clearly is our alpha male. He is tall and very strong (unofficial weight-pull champ - 300 kg over a distance of 30 meters, without any upfront training). He was our first Malamute and he was quite a handful in the beginning! Attila has taught us without any doubt to always remain boss over your Malamute and be consistent at all times.

Attached

Attila has a tremendous affection for people in general and is absolutely fond of children. Of all of our Mals he's the one that is the most attached to us. You can't make him more happy really than allowing him in the house to sleep at our feet while we're at work. To do just that he is very much willing to pause bossing his pack around.

Strongheaded!

Every now and than his highness steps from his imaginary throne (not too often of course with all his subjects around) and becomes a crazy clown, playing wildly and racing around the place. Many times when whe prepare for a training round he silently takes off and hides behind a shed, his ears totally flat, as if he thinks we won't be able to spot him like that ;-). Of course we don't let him push us around and put him in the team anyway, upon which he (almost) always works his ass off. Crazy animal. Our big friend!

Diploma

Occasionally we participate in a Clubshow or 4-Kamp of the Alaskan Malamute Club Belgium. You'll find Attila's result below:
