'Our' first litter
In December 2004 we had 7 healthy pups out of the combination Slikey x Belukha.
Out of this first Lowlands Trail litter we have kept Duchess and her sister Dynamite.
We chose Duchess because as a young puppy she always was the first to discover new
things and seemed very fast and flexible. In the litter she also was very dominant
and after 4 months she's still boss over Dynamite, but in the meantime we also get
to see some of Spikey's character in her: a little reluctant in new situations and
mostly very sweet. Duchess has an athletic build. Her coat has a beautiful structure,
with non-symmetric coloring and a gorgeous face mask.
Present
At this moment we teach the pups some basic commands. When the two little ladies are
ready for their first mushing training (starting with cross-country runs, bike runs, teaching mushing
commands and playful pulling over short distances) we will keep you posted in our diary.
Future
When Duchess grows towards adulthood and her build, looks and character get
their more definite shapes this page will be updated.
Diplomas
Occasionally we participate in a Clubshow or 4-Kamp of the Alaskan Malamute Club Belgium.
