Lowlands Trail B-Worp
In June 2005 we had 6 healthy pups out of the combination Spikey x Cayuna.
Out of this seconds Lowlands Trail litter we have kept Snow and his sister Engine.
We hadn't really planned on keeping a male, but by nature Cayuna only had one female,
whereas we had decided to keep two Mals. Besides, three of the males turned out to be
quite special: they're all completely white!
So we changed our minds rather quickly and finally chose Snow as he (together with Engine)
showed to be the most undertaking and outgoing type. Furthermore he is very submissive towards
the other males which is very important for a stable pack order. Last but not least Snow is a very flexible dog, a
genuine Houdini > he sqeeuzes himself through or under every barrier. The will to find a way is
definitely there...
Season 2005-2006
Towards the end of the past training season we put Snow and Engine in the team a couple of times for
short distances, both in the mud with the quad at home and with the sled in the Swedish snow.
It was great to experience that our breeding theories and training efforts seem to pay off: both of them
ran and worked as if they'd never done anything else! Snowy acquired his own place next to his friend and papa Spikey.
We are looking forward to him developing during his first full season 2006-2007...
