Breeding principles
To extend and improve our teams we occasionally plan a litter,
Our main goal is the optimisation of
characteristics
that's make a sleddog like endurance, social behavior and the drive to work and run.
The first three characteristics; Speed, endurance and pulling ability is the triangle where other traits are even important.
Out of a litter we keep 1 or 2 pups ourselves; the others are sold to serious
people (key words: strong boss, able to spend a lot of time with the dog,
regular outdoor activities, good care and education), whom we have met up front.
The sale will always be accompanied with a contract signed by both parties,
protecting the rights and duties of both the breeder and the owner.
The puppies are born inside the house. Future owners are welcome from the beginning
onwards to follow the development of the youngsters. At the age of about 4 weeks the
litter moves outdoors and becomes socialised with the other dogs. This phase is extremely
important; the little ones naturally learn how to behave in a pack. The puppies may leave
their mother 9 weeks after birth. At that moment they are dewormed, vaccinated and registrated.
